Normally, on the way to Baja, we just blow through San Diego on the Interstate(s) 'cause we're in one of the cars (or even on the motorcycle). This trip I flew into San Diego from the East Coast, planning on using the pedestrian crossing at San Ysidro. The city (or the airport - I'm not certain) provides a free EV shuttle bus to the Old Town Transit Center. From there they have the Blue Line "trolley" that takes you right to that pedestrian crossing. As it crosses through San Diego it allows for glimpses of it's different neighborhoods. On the way back I'll try to jump off at a few of those stops and see if there is anything photo worthy. So far I've shot a roll and a half of 120 film and I still have a few rolls left. I love that feeling of suspense between snapping the shutter and finally seeing the developed film. I generally think I have a really good shot or two but I never know until I see the uploads fromthe lab.
